fair play

As a creative person, a constant distractedness is the norm. It's not that focusing is impossible... there's just too much to take in all at once - people, places, sights, sounds, and energy within a moment. Fair season is the perfect opportunity to just go with it - embrace the visual overload and appreciate those tiny details within the chaos.

One of my favorite parts if this photography journey has been capturing glimpses into the mind and heart, which only the quickness of your shutter speed can realize and immortalize. Truly, memory fails, but a photo brings alive again faded outlines of life lived.

I have the opportunity to be a part of the growing and learning of some adorable little humans, who by association are subject to my camera lens on a somewhat regular basis. How fun to capture their view of the world - the awe, wonder and excitement for what each day brings! A summer day at the local fair was a perfect opportunity to see them in action - all energy, full of fair food and buzzed on cotton candy sugar highs, you can imagine the scenario I'm sure...
